JOB DESCRIPTION: BSP ENGINEER

Job Description / Responsibilities
- Sound knowledge of C
- Good understanding of hardware interfaces.
- Protocol understanding- Any of the SPI, I2C, serial, USB, Audio, Video, etc.
- Device driver writing.
- Working experience in VxWorks or Linux Based Embedded Systems
- Writing/porting VxWorks or Linux or any RTOS BSP
- VxWorks, Linux build procedures, make files
- writing low-level code that directly interacts with hardware
- writing boot loader code
- working with boards, hardware, hardware debug tools like logic analyser, oscilloscope, etc
- Although not essential, knowledge of PPC, MIPS assembly language would surely be an advantage
