JOB DESCRIPTION: Senior MFG Test Engineer

Develop board level Automated Test Stations for production of wireless communications equipment.
Provide leadership in the architecture, definition and implementation of product test strategy for both new and legacy products.
Support and enhance established Automated Test Stations with software and hardware.
Debug test software & hardware used in production environment.
Evaluate design issues w/regard to testability. Provide DFT feedback to engineering and ensure products are able to meet production requirements.
Identify and facilitate resolution of inadequacies in test hardware and software.
Set up and support test equipment at CM's. Train CM personnel as required. Some travel required.
Document test station configuration, maintenance and usage.
Write detailed embedded software requirements to define test/product interface.

8 years of experience in a Manufacturing Test-Development environment.
5 years experience with C++ or C# programming languages.
Knowledge of National Instruments LabVIEW, Test Stand or similar industry standard computer based measurement and automation systems.
Experience in defining and implementing manufacturing test strategies for microwave & RF products.
Working knowledge of wireless test equipment such as spectrum analyzers and signal generators.
5 years of experience with RF testing up to 6GHz.

Ability to effectively communicate with multiple levels and disciplines within manufacturing and engineering.
Ability to lead Test Technician efforts, which includes instruction and training to effectively provide technical support to manufacturing process of Point to Point Radio equipment and systems.
Familiarity with AutoIT, Perl, TCL/TK a plus.
Work well in a team environment.
Be able to work independently with minimal direction.
